Everything is almost stable now in the Shadowverse game because the storm that was created due to the introduction of Darkness Evolved cards is just passed. New strategies are introduced because of these cards as well as new experiments are made. Finally, based on the deck ratings and the strengths and weaknesses of characters, we can, at last, make a tier list indicating which character stands where. I am going to make four bills of Tier: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4.
Tier 1
The characters in Tier 1 are Tempo Rune, Aggro Bats, Midrange Sword, and Ramp Dragon. Here is a brief description of all of these
Tempo Rune
It belongs to Runecraft class, and the cost of its deck is 15,050. It has following cards: Insight, Magic Missile, Conjure Golem, Kaleidoscopic Glow, Demonic Strike, Piercing Rune, and Fate’s Hand. All these cards are three in quantity.
Aggro Bats
This character belongs to Bloodcraft class, and the cost of its deck is 8300. It has the following cards: Blood Pact, Razory Claw, Summon Bloodkin, Night Horde, and Dance of Death. It also has one amulet card, and that is a Vampiric fortress.
Midrange Sword
This belongs to swordcraft category, and one of the best things about it is that it pressurizes the opponent. Its powerful mid-game threats also make it an excellent character. Because of its ability to pressurize opponents, it can survive longer.
Ramp Dragon
It is best against midrange aggression. It can also play best against aggro.
Tier 2
The characters in Tier 2 are as follows: D-Shift Rune, D-Shift/Daria Hybrid Rune, Roost Ramp Dragon, Midrange Shadow, Elana Control, Elana/Seraph Combo Control, Garuda Haven, Control Shadow, and Discard Dragon. Here is a brief description of all of these.
D-shift Rune
It is a gatekeeper deck and belongs to Runecraft category. This D-shift rune has a crucial part in the game because all the aggro decks are supposed to defeat this before moving further in the game. If you are a control style oriented player, this pack is perfect for you.
D-Shift/Daria Hybrid Rune
This deck belongs to Runecraft class. The cost of this deck is 17800. This deck has an outstanding collection of spell cards which are as follows: Insight, Magic Missile, Conjure Golem, Wind Blast, Kaleidoscopic Glow, Sorcery Cache, Secrets of Erasmus, Piercing Rune, Fate’s Hand, Fiery Embrace, and Dimension Shift. This deck has 76% win rates.
Roost Ramp Dragon
Using Roost Ramp Dragon, you can heal yourself easily, as well as you can inflict maximum damage to the opponent.
Midrange Shadow
This character belongs to Shadowcraft category, and the cost of its deck is 27900. It has five outstanding spell cards: Foul Tempest, Death-brand, Phantom Howl, Dance of Death, and Death’s Breath. It also has great followers’ cards in its deck list; few of them are as follows: Skull Beast, Lesser Mummy, Charon, Lord of the Flies, Hell’s Unleasher, Playful Necromancer, and many others.
Elana Control
If you are an aggressive player and are looking for aggressive metal, then there is no better deck than this. If healing and surviving in early phases are your problems, then use this deck and enjoy the game to a maximum extent. The only limitation of this deck is that it doesn’t perform well against other control decks like Seraph.
Elana/Seraph Combo Control
Seraph Combo Control belongs to Havencraft category deck. This deck especially doubles the power game, and it has lots of healing and other capacities. This deck has control tools as well as resilience to the enemy attacks.
Garuda Haven
This deck belongs to a Havencraft category, and the cost of this deck is 13450. It has following amulet cards: Pinion Prayer, Sacred Plea, Beast-call area, and Divine Birdsong. The spell cards in this deck are as follows: Hollowed Dogma, Blackened Scripture, Angelic Barrage, and Dance of Death.
Control Shadow
This deck belongs to shadowcraft category, and the cost of this deck is 27950. It has four spell cards: Undying Resentment, Foul Tempest, Phantom Howl, and Death’s Breath. It also has one Amulet card that is Spirit Cycle.
Discard Dragon

This deck inflicts massive early damage on the opponent making it powerless in the whole span of the game. If you love the potential offensive gameplay, this is the deck you should be using.
PTP Forest
This deck belongs to the forestcraft category, and the cost of this deck is 29,600. It features many interesting spell cards: Nature’s Guidance, Fairy Circle, Altered Fate, Sylvan Justice, and Glimmering Wings. It has only one Amulet card which is Path to Purgatory.
Earth Rune
This deck belongs to runecraft category, and the cost of this deck is 16550. It has four amulet cards and five spell cards. The amulet cards are Scrap Iron Smelter, Teachings of Creation, Red-Hot Ritual, and Price of Magic. The spell cards include Kaleidoscopic Glow, Petrification, Secrets of Erasmus, Fate’s Hand, and Calamitous Curse.
Control Sword
This deck belongs to swordcraft category, and its cost is 43,100. It has only two spell cards, but lots of Follower cards. The spell cards are Whole-Souled Swing and Alwida’s Command.
