Volcanoids Co-Op: How To Play Multiplayer

Volcanoids is an independent game created by Volcanoid. The game is set in a steampunk era when people and technology coexist, and players use their drillship to delve underground to avoid volcanic explosions. However, they must surface to explore and discover the island’s numerous hidden secrets. Players can modify their steampunk drill as they progress and fight off mechanical robots that threaten their lives at every turn. Volcanoids is a must-play for all survival game fans thanks to its creative gameplay, deep world-building, and addictive gameplay elements.

Host Online

Follow the steps below to host an online session on Volcanoids. There are three methods to do so, and you can follow any of them.

Method 1:

1. Go to the main menu and select the “New Game” option. 
2. Select “Friends Multiplayer” or “Public Multiplayer” and choose the difficulty level. 
3. Press the Escape button key to open the menu and go to the “Multiplayer” tab. 
4. Select “Server Settings” and enter a server name.
5. You can adjust the maximum number of players and visibility settings and then Hit “Apply” to save the settings. 

Method 2:

1. Go to the main menu and select the “New Game” option. 
2. Select “Custom Multiplayer” and then enter a server name. 
3. You can adjust the maximum number of players and visibility settings.
4. After that, select the difficulty level. 
5. Invite your friends via the Steam Invite feature to join your session.

Method 3:

1. Go to the main menu and select the “Load Game” option. 
2. You have to load your last save or choose a save slot. 
3. Press the Escape button to open the menu and click on the “Multiplayer” tab.
4. Go to “Server Settings” and enter a server name. 
5. You can adjust the maximum number of players and visibility settings and hit “Apply” to save your settings.
6. Invite your friends via the Steam Invite feature to join your session.

Join Online

If you want to join Volcanoids, you need to follow the steps below. There are two methods to join a game. 

Method 1:

1. Go to the main menu and select the “Join Game” option. 
2. Select the game you want to join and tap on “Join” to connect to the game.

Method 2:

1. Your friend need to send you an invitation through Steam.
2. You can join their game by accepting the invitation.
