In this guide, you will learn to change your Real Name on PS5. You will also learn how you can Hide name from others.
You will need to go to your profile icon and press the X button to open up the menu option.
You have to go to the profile option to open your PlayStation 5 user’s profile. In the Overview tab, you will see all the reviews on your games, and if you tap over to the games tab, you will see how many hours you played in each game, as shown in the image below.
If you tap on the Friends tab, you will find the list of your game friends. Go to the Shared Tab, and you will see all the things you shared in the game.
Next, you will need to tap on the Edit profile icon and press the X button on it. A new window will appear, and you have to select the name option. You can easily change your name, as shown in the image below.
After entering your name, you need to press the confirm button from the bottom side of the screen. When you go back to the home screen, you will see that your name has been changed successfully. Tap on the Privacy settings, and you can customize who can search for you in the search result by your name and your profile picture. You have to select the No none option.
If you are using your real name, you can also change the setting to see your real name and who cannot. You can also restrict who can see your real name.
