This will show let you know how to complete Big Friendly Friend in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
This task is a little bit difficult. There are two ingredients required for this; the first is the splendor shells and stinger piles and they are easiest to farm.
For splendor shells, you have to go to the Aetia region at this location.
They are rare and spawn a lot less. You need to get at least 21 of these to get the right percentage and this area has the biggest batch. You have to run around a lot to collect it but if you run out or teleport yourself back out and then back in, they will respawn.
Once you have gathered those, you need to collect those stinger piles and it is right outside where you got the quest therefore it is in the fornis region right outside colony 30.
You have to go there and you will find them near the bottom of the trees and these are relatively common.
So run around and collect as much as you want.
