This guide will let you know how to install the Working Winch For All Vehicles mod in your GTA 5 game.
1. The first thing you will need to do is download the Working Winch For All Vehicles Mod from “https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/winch-for-all-vehicles“. Open the link and click on the green arrow icon for the current version under the ‘All Versions’ section to download the mod.
2. You will require the latest versions of ScripthookV Library, Community ScripthookVDotNet ASI plugin, and some packages (.NET Framework web installer and Visual C++ Redistributable for this mod to work. You can download the ScripthookV from “https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/script-hook-v” and ScripthookVDotNet from “https://github.com/crosire/scripthookvdotnet/releases/tag/v3.5.1“. However, to download the required packages, you need to visit these links “https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42643“, “https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145” respectively. Once you have downloaded the required files and the Winch Mod, you have to go to the downloads folder to open the files.
3. On the other hand, open the “GTA V” directory side by side with the downloads folder. Now open the scripts folder of the “GTAV” and if you don’t see this folder here, then you need to create an empty folder and name it scripts.
4. Now open the Winch.Zip downloaded file using the WinRar archiver from the downloads folder and drag the winch.dll file from it into the scripts folder of the GTAV.
5. The mod has been installed so you can run the latest version of the GTA V game to test the mod. Press the F8 on your keyboard to open the menyoo mod. Then spawn two cars using the spawn vehicle menu.
6. Then place a car in the water and another one outside so that the outer car test the winch to pull the car from the water. Pick a small weapon like SMG or pistol and then sit in the outer car and aim at the car which is inside the water. Now hold the spacebar and press the left shift key once and you will see a rope attached between the car. To detach the rope, first, hold up space and press the left shift key.
