Dark Oak Sign boards are non-solid blocks that can display text. It may be placed on the top or side of other blocks.
You need Dark Oak Wood Logs, Dark Oak Wood Planks and Dark Oak Wood Sticks to make Dark Oak Sign. Please follow the following steps to make a Dark Oak Sign.
Dark Oak Wood Logs
In order to make a Dark Oak Sign, the basic item you will need is Dark Oak wood log. Find a Dark Oak tree and chop it down with your iron axe to get two pieces of Dark Oak logs. You can find Dark Oak trees in the Roofed Forest Biome.
Dark Oak Wood Planks
After that you will need to craft Dark Oak wood planks using the crafting table. Go towards the crafting table and open up 3*3 crafting grid to add Dark Oak wood blocks in the center or any cell of the grid. You will get eight Dark Oak wood planks from two Dark Oak logs in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add these Dark Oak planks into your inventory.
Dark Oak Wood Sticks
The next thing you need to do is to craft sticks from Dark Oak wood planks. Add two wood planks in adjacent cells of any column, as shown in the image below. Two Dark Oak wood planks will give you four Dark Oak sticks. Add them in inventory to use later.
Dark Oak Sign
Now you can craft Dark Oak Sign as you have all the required items. Add six Dark Oak wood planks and a stick into 3*3 crafting grid, where the first two rows should consist of six wood planks, and the third row should have only one stick in the middle cell. You will get a Dark Oak Sign in the right-side box of the crafting table. Add it in your “ready to use” stock.
