Roblox Bed Wars introduces new kits and updates every season to spice up things for amateurs and seasoned veterans. One such upgrade is the introduction of the remarkable Yuzi Kit at the start of 2022. The Yuzi Kit introduces traditional Dao Swords and replaces the swords in the game. This guide will comprehensively review the Yuzi Kit and list all the information players need to equip this extraordinary Kit. Without further ado, let’s jump in.
The Yuzi Kit was first introduced as part of the Lunar New Year Bundle 2022 and was priced at 999 Robux. Since February 11, 2022, the Yuzi Kit has been available for individual purchase for 399 Robux without the skin.
Dao Swords
The Special item with this Kit is the traditional Dao Swords. Dao is Mandarin for ‘knife,’ and Dao swords have historically originated in China. Dao Swords allow the players a special ability, as they can hold down the attack button to execute a forward-dash AOE attack. This ability allow players to dash forward instantly and attack opponents by rushing them.
Players equipped with Yuzi Kit will have their swords in the item shops replaced wholly by Dao swords. These Dao swords allow the player the ability to dash when the attack button is held but have a slight drawback. The Dao swords are more expensive to buy than the regular swords.
Dao Swords can also be used defensively, as executing a forward dash just before a player hits the ground during a fall will negate most of the fall damage.
Dao Dash
The Dao Dash must be charged for 0.5 seconds before release. Each dash attack deals 18-34 damage to all enemies in the front, and the player lunges eight blocks forward. There’s a three seconds cooldown period between dashes.
The player has four charges in her Dash bar which will be replenished slowly, provided the player doesn’t dash for a minimum of ten seconds. Using all four charges will render the player unable to dash, and players will have to wait for the dash bars to be refilled to execute dashes again.
Additionally, players who don’t have the Kit but who equip a Dao sword gain the ability to dash. This ability becomes mighty helpful when playing with your team and friends against other opposing teams.
With an insane Dash ability to cover distances, players can travel across entire maps without using blocks. On May 13, 2022, developers added an extra cooldown period of 10 seconds after dashing four times and increased the Dash Damage by 20%.
Another skin was added to the game, labelled the “Victorious Skin” for the Yuzi Kit, and it looks regal and powerful, as seen in the picture above.
Players can take advantage of a glitch in the game if timed correctly. It’s called ‘double-hitting‘, where players charge up the dash, open their inventory and let go of the mouse. Doing this will put the players in a bugged state, where the dash is charged, but players don’t need to keep holding the screen. The main advantage of this glitch is that players can deal 38 damage with a wooden Dao sword to a player with no armour.
Players can multiply their dash distance over 8 blocks if the opponent damages the player at the same time they dashed. Owing to the fact the player is being flung much farther than normal. The range of the AoE attack remains the same.
Additional Information
Yuzi is the third Kit that leaps the player forward, the first being Jade and the second Void Regent. However, Yuzi has a slight edge over both, due to its short cooldown period, compared to Jade and Void Regent.
After increasing the dash damage, Yuzi’s damage can damage enemies 16 blocks away and hit opponents through 9 blocks. Talk about the power and range of this Kit. Also, to test this insane ability, the player and the opponent must be on the same level and within 16 blocks for the hit to be registered.
The Yuzi is one of the six kits that automatically gives out a special item to the player, the others being the Vulcan, Beekeeper Matrix, Metal Detector, Infernal Shielder, and Crypt.
The Yuzi Kit is the first and only Kit where the swords cost more than all normal kits. But don’t let this deter you, as Yuzi is a high-performing kit with insane offensive and defensive abilities.
