The first method to get Nitain Extract is by doing exterminate missions on certain planets, and you have to get all three hidden caches on the maps.
Jupiter, Lua, and the Kuva fortress are the only places where you can run exterminate missions and have hidden caches that have a chance of dropping Nitain Extract.
Even if you get all three caches, you will likely not get Nitain Extract on the first few runs since it has a pretty low drop rate of around 1-2 percent, depending on which mission you’re doing.
The next way you can get Nitain Extract is similar to the last in that you will need to get three hidden caches. But you have to do certain sabotage missions this time.
The two planets where you have to run the sabotage missions are either Pluto or Sedna, and you have to get all three caches just like before to have a chance at getting Nitain Extract.
The next two ways you can get Nitain Extract is by buying it from Nora in the night wave, and it’s relatively cheap considering how many night wave creds you can get.
The other place you can go is to the plains and do bounties for Konzu, but only when the ghoul event in the plains is active because Konzu will have special bounties with Nitain Extract a possible rare completion reward when the ghoul event comes.
When the ghoul event starts, you will see the bounties below the regular Cetus bounties.
