In this guide, you will find where to get Stasis Rifle Fragments in Subnautica. It will provide you with every location to find it.
To get Stasis Rifle, you need to scan two fragments to unlock the blueprint. You can find fragments in several places, although they might not spawn in certain places in different games or saves.
The first location you can check is the Degasi base in the jelly shroom caves. You can reach it by using the coral tube that sticks out of the water as your starting point and head about two notches to the right of the southeast on the compass until you reach an entrance to the jelly shroom caves in the grassy plateau biome.
When going there, bringing a sea moth with at least an MK1 depth module and perimeter defense, a high capacity 02 tank is recommended. If the aurora has already exploded, you will need a radiation suit, helmet, and gloves so the radiation doesn’t affect you.
The main threat you may encounter while you are in the jelly shroom cave is crab snakes, which can damage you and your vehicle. You just need to be wary and careful of them, and they can sometimes hide in the jelly shrooms in the caves, so just be careful when in the cave. You can always ward them off using perimeter defense if you need to.
2. The next place you can find fragments is at the floating islands, which you can find by using the same coral tube starting point and heading about one notch to the left of the southwest until you reach the floating island, where you can find about 2 potential stasis rifle fragments.
There aren’t any big threats you’ll encounter here, and you don’t need anything other than maybe a sea moth or sea glide to reach the island faster, but you can just swim if you don’t have either.
You have to use the same starting point for all these locations. The next place you need to head to is a wreck in the kelp forest biome, which you can reach by heading northwest until you run to reach the kelp forest and then the wreck.
The only thing you’ll need is a sea moth, and maybe a high-capacity 02 tank.
The only threat you may encounter here is stalkers, which aren’t much of a threat; they can just be annoying. You can easily kill them using a survival knife, or you can simply outrun them using a sea moth or sea glide.
The next place you can find fragments is at the wreck in the underwater island’s biome.
When going there, bringing a sea moth with an MK1 or MK2 depth module and perimeter defense, a high-capacity 02 tank is recommended. You will need a laser cutter to access all parts of the wreck.
The main threat you will encounter at the wreck is bone sharks which are similar to stalkers, but they do more damage, and there are going to be a good number of them. So you have to be careful when searching for a wreck. If you bring a sea moth, try to position it in a spot where there aren’t many bone sharks, as they can attack and damage your vehicle even while you aren’t in it, so be careful of that.
The next place is another wreck in the kelp forest biome. You can reach it using the same starting point and heading about three notches to the right of the north until you reach the wreck in the kelp forest.
You will need the same gear/equipment you brought before for the last visit to the kelp forest, and you will encounter the same threats as well. The only new thing you may want to bring is a laser cutter for a door.
The last two wrecks you can visit for fragments are in the bulb zone; you can reach the first wreck by using the same starting point and heading about 1 notch to the right of the northeast until you reach a wreck in the bulb zone.
It is recommended to have a sea moth with an MK2 depth module, perimeter defense, a high capacity 02 tank, and a sea glide. You will need a laser cutter.
The two main threats you will encounter in the bulb zone are bone sharks and ampeels, which you will want to avoid. You can use perimeter defense against bone sharks you cannot use it against ampeels, so your only option for ampeels is to avoid them since you aren’t going to have a stasis rifle to stop them. They are fairly dangerous, considerably more so than bone sharks.
You will need a radiation suit here as well.
Once you have searched the first bulb zone wreck, you have to use that wreck as the starting point and head east from that wreck until you reach the 2nd wreck in the bulb zone and the last wreck
