In this guide, you will find how to add and set up a basic minimap mod for Palworld. First, you need to download all the necessary files, install the mods, and then set the mini map in your game.
Download necessary files
In this section, we will take you through the steps to download all the necessary files. By following the steps below, you will be able to download Unreal Engine UE4SS, Basic Minimap, and Mod Config Menu (UI).
- You first have to download the Unreal Engine UE4SS. Once you reach the web page, tap on the newest release, scroll down to the Assets, and download the UE4SS_v3.0 zip file. Drag & drop the downloaded zip file on your desktop.
- Next, download the Basic Minimap. Once you reach the web page, click on the Download button on the right side and then tap on Slow Download.
- After that, download the Mod Config Menu (UI).
It will allow you to set up the mini-map in Palworld. - Drag & drop the downloaded zip file on your desktop.
Install the mods
This section describes how to install the mods in your game. After installing all the mods, you will be able to set up the minimap inside your game.
- Open the game installation folder and navigate to the Pal folder. Go to binaries and double-click on Win64.
- Now open the UE4SS_v3 and drag & drop everything in this file into the Win64 folder.
- Now you have to navigate to the Palworld folder. On the other hand, open the mod config menu file and drag & drop the Pal folder into the Palworld folder.
- Next, go to the Pal folder, open the content folder, and double-click on packs.
- Drag & drop the logic mods folder into this folder.
- Delete all the downloaded files and launch the game.
You will find a mod config button in the top right corner. - Click on it to open the menu and then you can set up the minimap according to your preference.
