To activate the Crab Tank, just press the right analog stick when the special gauge is charged.
There are two different ways you can attack with this special weapon. One of them is a powerful rapid-fire gun by pressing the “ZR” button.
The other one shoots like a cannon with a wide blast area, and you can use it by pressing the “R” button. The Crab Tank will end when your special gauge runs out. It will flash red to warn you that the special weapon is about to end.
While using the Crab Tank, your back will be vulnerable and the opponent can splat you. However, you can press the “ZL” button to curl up into a baller and protect yourself from getting splatted.
Also, turning into a baller gives you the advantage to move faster, climb up walls, and even cause damage to opponents while rolling in a ball. You won’t be affected by the opponent’s ink which means it won’t slow you down when you walk or roll around.
