You can farm EXP in the middle game by following the steps down there.
Go to the Gun fort of Sunken Valley and kill the enemies with the gun or cannon.
Make use of Divine Abduction to kill some of them.
And then kill a nun. You can use any killing method to take her down.
Kill a gun enemy using the Divine Abduction. You will get Gold and XP on killing each one of them.
